Advancements in construction and energy efficiency has come at a cost: lack of fresh air. Air exchange is essential for a healthy home, but many newer homes don’t have anywhere near enough fresh air exchange. This, plus the increase in synthetic building materials has led to a significant concern with Indoor Air Quality in newer homes.
Choose Your Test
Pick an IAQ test that best fits your needs and health concerns. We offer two types of IAQ tests: Mold Testing (particulates) or VOC testing (gasses). Our mold test includes three samples and will sample the air (or a surface) to identify if mold is present in the air (or on a surface) as well as identify the strain/type of mold found. Our VOC test samples the air and will identify elevated VOC’s by group or category. For more specific VOC testing, particularly for clients with sensitive allergies or health problems, our Extensive VOC test is a good option as it includes a full chemical analysis (helpful when someone is allergic to a specific chemical/compound). The VOC tests uses methods EPA TO-17 and ISO 16000-6 for air sample analysis.
